Past, Present, and Future you are Guided by the Holy Spirit
Past, Present, and Future you are guided by the Holy Spirit, always. Yesterday, I was looking through an old family photo album. It brought back a lot of memories, memories that I had shelved in the back of mind. I found part of me wishing, I could go back to some of those moments and see things how I do now. With the Holy Spirit with me. Some of our readers’ might not know, but I got saved three years ago this past January. With that I also found the Holy Spirit within me. I realized that ‘guy feeling’ that always talks to us was really the Holy Spirit always talking to me.
So what happens to all those moments we look back on and wish if only we had the Holy Spirit, I might have enjoyed that moment more. Or I might not have made that mistake. In reality, the Holy Spirit was with us, even though we couldn’t see it. What I realized and what I wanted to share with our readers’ is God is always with us, no matter what we face. We are never alone. I realized that in looking back instead of wishing I could changes things, if things were different I wouldn’t be who I was today.
So many things happen in our life that yes could have or might have been easier if you were saved. Then again, who you are today with the Holy Spirit is right where God has put you in your path. As moms we always have hectic days and dealing with many emotions and challenges, time gets away from us. Some day’s I start to wonder off on the path of if only I had the Holy Spirit then. But I realized today, all of us do within us. It is in challenging times we are guided, even when we don’t know if. So those mistakes you think you might have done in your life really was a lesson from God, showing us and telling us just how strong we are.
8 To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10 to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues,[a] and to still another the interpretation of tongues.’ -1 Corinthians 12:8–10
