Fitness Journey with the help of Fitbit
Fitness Journey with the help of Fitbit is here. If you are beginning a fitness journey, like me, or want to add something new to your routine- try a Fitbit. I have the Fitbit Charge. I absolutely love it! The Fitbit tracks my steps, overall distance in miles, heart rate, calories burned, even sleep patterns. Many of you may be wondering if the Fitbit is accurate? I say, YES! I checked the heart rate against my doctor’s office pulse (heart beat), the Fitbit was spot on!
In addition, you can set hour step goals. Which is great if you work at a desk or are a student. It reminds you to get up and walk by vibrating on your wrist. Not to mention, you get a weekly personalized email newsletter tracking your progress from week to week. This shows you total active minutes to how many floors climbed! The newsletter is a great motivator to see areas I can improve on and set goals to challenge by best areas.
In addition, you can link a Bluetooth scale to track weight goals. Therefore, if you have co-workers, family, or friends with a Fitbit, you can set up challenges to compete against each other. These are a lot of fun! If you opt out of challenges, Fitbit itself is a great motivator, Fitbit sends you badges when hit specific milestones. In conclusion, you can easily change out the Fitbit band to match your outfit.
